The Yuma Community Food Bank relied on more than 10,000 volunteers last year, whose hours totaled 17,927. Seeing so many caring individuals pass through our warehouse throughout the year is incredible. Our various volunteer opportunities offer fun and unique ways for individuals and groups to contribute their time, talents and resources to help our neighbors in need. Volunteering is a great way to make friends, learn something new and have fun while fighting hunger in our community!
Volunteers are the heartbeat of YCFB. We rely on the amazing support from our community to help us to distribute 55,000 meals daily, five days a week.
Volunteer Hours: Monday–Friday: 7:00 am – 12:30 pm during distribution (under 18 only after 11:30am)
Limited volunteer opportunities are available between 12:30-3:00 pm and Saturdays
